In the wake of two devastating attacks on New Year’s Day, former President Donald Trump has issued a series of statements condemning the incidents and criticizing the current administration’s policies.
New Orleans Attack
The first incident occurred on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, where a driver in a white pickup truck deliberately plowed into a crowd of New Year’s revelers. The assailant then exited the vehicle and opened fire, resulting in at least 12 fatalities and 35 injuries, including two New Orleans police officers who engaged the suspect in a shootout.
Las Vegas Explosion
Hours later, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. Preliminary investigations suggest the vehicle was carrying fireworks or a bomb. The explosion injured seven people and resulted in the death of the suspect. Authorities are treating the incident as a potential act of terrorism, noting chilling parallels to the New Orleans attack.
Trump’s Response
In response to these events, Trump issued a statement condemning the attacks and expressing support for the victims and law enforcement:
“When I said that the criminals coming in are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, that statement was constantly refuted by Democrats and the Fake News Media, but it turned out to be true.
The crime rate in our country is at a level that nobody has ever seen before. Our hearts are with all of the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department.
The Trump Administration will fully support the City of New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this act of pure evil!”
Trump further criticized the current administration’s policies, particularly regarding border security and the priorities of federal agencies:
“Our Country is a disaster, a laughing stock all over the World! This is what happens when you have OPEN BORDERS, with weak, ineffective, and virtually nonexistent leadership.
The DOJ, FBI, and Democrat state and local prosecutors have not done their job. They are incompetent and corrupt, having spent all of their waking hours unlawfully attacking their political opponent, ME, rather than focusing on protecting Americans from the outside and inside violent SCUM that has infiltrated all aspects of our government, and our Nation itself.
Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen to our Country. The CIA must get involved, NOW, before it is too late.

In a subsequent post, Trump declared:
“TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!”
